Manx Festival Chorus
Manx Festival Chorus 50th Anniversary Season
The Manx Festival Chorus

Manx Festival Chorus MFC is an adult choir of about 50 singers under the direction of John Riley.

Our Main Concerts

In December and April of each year the choir presents a concert with professional soloists at churches on the island. Each May, the MFC joins with choirs from England to perform a major choral work. We also perform at other island venues.

See concerts for details of future performances.

Rehearsals

From September to May, we rehearse on the1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 7:30 to 9:30 at Union Mills Methodist Church hall. We also have choral workshops during the year.

The Chorus has sung at the Mananan International Festival of Music and the Arts and members have joined with Oldham Choral Society, Sale Choral Society, Lindow Singers, the North West Festival Choir and the Philharmonic Choir of Manchester in performances in England, Finland, Sweden, New York, the Isle of Man and at the Latour De France International Festival of Music and Arts in France.
